If a composer cannot hear, how can he compose? Despite the onset of deafness from 1817, Ludwig von Beethoven still composed many major works. But how? This question will be discussed by Dominik Dieterle, Alexander Fieres, Uli Kneisel and Julian Schwarz in a combination of lecture and musical presentation. Accompanying them on musical instruments will be Nils Hilbert and Maya Fabry (both violin), Nelson Matute (viola), Leon Werner (cello) and Prof Michael Polth.
