Heinrich von Kleister and Lukas von Beathoven come from the far depths of German hip-hop. Their sound is a mixture of fantastic beats, with masterly jazz piano, harsh synthi-trash and live looped beatbox. The texts are strongly metaphorical and lyrically structured in their nature and are reminiscent of the traditions of German poets and thinkers – brilliantly combined and underscored with striking beats. Can you call it hip-hop? It doesn't matter! Everything about this show is live. With their freedom-urging lyrics, the harsh synthi-sound and special stage outfits, the two artistes are going their own smooth way.
