‘Sleepyhead Concert’ with dance music to round off the day – an evening recital
The name says it all: and what better way to round off a long day at the fair than with enchanting melodies from Tchaikovsky’s much-loved ‘Nutcracker’ ballet? When the fair closes for the day, the Hotel Hessischer Hof just across the road invites you to enjoy a harmonious evening concert with three young musicians: Sophie Neeb (piano), Bodam Lee (violin) and Julia Vogel (clarinet), all multiple prize winners of the ‘Young People Make Music’ competition. Also on the programme are works by Bohemian composer Johann Baptist Vanhal and the suite ‘Le voyageur sans bagage’ by Darius Milhaud.
